1989 Procyon Avior 0.34
The 1989 Procyon Avior is a high-end luxury saloon developed for the export market by Hirochi. It marked the beginning of the Procyon brand, and was sold until 1994 with a 1993 technology update. It saw massive success in it’s goal of usurping the North American and European luxury vehicle markets, then dominated by German competitors, and was known for it’s build quality, reliability and general craftsmanship. It was also sold in the Japanese market under the Hirochi Theria name.
The car was powered by a 4.0L naturally-aspirated V8, mated to a 4-speed automatic transmission which drove the rear wheels, making 248bhp and 312Nm of torque. It weighs in at about 1800kg (3950lb).
The mod has been worked on since October 2022, and has been my main project for most of that time. It is entirely standalone as a vehicle and mod.
